Tata Pravesh Door will be installed by a trained installation team. You may fix the date and time of installation of the door with the dealer or company representative.

The delivery time will vary as per availability and location. Needs to be discussed with the dealer or company representative at the time of purchase.

We recommend a positive tolerance of up to 10mm for the width and up to 5mm for the height of the wall opening. Any deviations including a negative tolerance may lead to rework and hence delay the installation. Kindly confirm the size of the wall opening with the company representative.

It is suggested that the door be delivered at the time of installation to prevent any damage to the door. In case the delivery is taken before the scheduled installation, the door should be kept on a raised surface. No heavy object should fall on the door.

Yes, it can be done for an additional charge

Although Tata Pravesh Door is made from high quality steel, it may get dented with rough use.

To fix a nameplate on your Tata Pravesh Door, please specify the need for fixing it at the time of booking so that holders can be ordered or please fix it with a VHB (very high bond) tape. Please install it with the help of our installation team. Fixing it yourself or with a local person is not recommended. There will be an additional charge for this.

The finish of the door is factory engineered and will not get spoilt unless the door comes in contact with harsh chemical or a heavy object which can destroy the outer coating of the door.

Tata Pravesh offers mild steel bolts and screws with stainless steel finish, which are stronger than aluminum.

The honeycomb filling inside Tata Pravesh Doors reduce the weight and provide strength to the doors. The average weight of the door is between 45 to 50 Kg.

Tata Pravesh team defines sizes in terms of height and width in mm. These are measured by laser meters by our sales executives. Wall opening should be captured in absolute terms. 10 mm positive tolerance in width and 5 mm positive tolerance in height is allowed against the sizes given/captured for the wall opening. Customer confirmation is taken on the booking form for the sizes recorded by the sales executive.

Yes, nameplate can put on a door. However, it needs to be confirmed at the time of booking for the provisions to be made and it will attract an extra charge.

Doors with option for extra lock can be made available on request.

There is a 1 year warranty on external door locks. For internal it depends on choice of the lock as per the company.

Any external application of colour will revoke/cancel the warranty against colour and texture fading.

The warranty for locks is only on default locks. Warranty on locks of other brands will be as per the warranty provided by the lock manufacturer.

Painting the door will remove the wood finish of the door. Hence, for the elegant look and natural wood finish, it is advised not to paint the door. Any external application will revoke the warranty on the door.

Tata Pravesh doors are made of steel which are naturally resistant to fire as compared to wood.

Honeycomb is a polymer/compound formed into continuous uniform hexagonal cells. This material can resist high pressure. Honeycomb is filled in between Tata Pravesh Doors. It provides strength to the door and also ensures a sound of wood, when knocked.

Tata Pravesh Doors are made of rust-resistant galvanised steel sheets which have a coating of zinc which protects against rust. These doors are further coated with PU paint which provides additional defence against rust.

Sublimation is an advanced heat based texture and colour printing technology, through which, wood color and texture are transferred on Tata Pravesh doors.

There is a 5 years warranty on the paint. These doors are weather proof. The paint on the doors is UV (ultra violet) resistant, that is sunlight will not harm the doors. Further, the doors are made of galvanized steel, which resist rust.
